Children's Activities

There is much for children to do at the Festival.

Jolly Jungle will be bringing along their multi play vehicle which will enable young ones to burn all that pent up energy - and a few calories if they have been indulging - who can blame them?

Cree-actions face painting return to the Festival. Anybody who has attended previous years will remember the multi coloured lions, tigers, fairies and the odd rather bizarre accident injury will know just how good these body decorations are. Always wanted a tattoo and never plucked up courage? Now's your chance. (don't worry, they're temporary)

Activities organised by Buckley Girl Guides and the many hands on experiences for children in the Interactive Cookery Zone marquee will ensure that no young people get board during the day. In the interactive marquee we will have a fun for all Smoothies bike where the children can pick what fruit they would like then using pedal power create their own smoothies.

Look out for the Children's artwork procession arriving in the main arena at about 1.45p.m. on the Sunday. This follows the dedication of the new public artwork by the Library in the Daniel Owen Centre.
