Course of the Month - Beginners Navigation

Do you want to explore more, perhaps venture off the beaten track or just have more confidence when out walking?

Then get started with our 2 day course based in Snowdonia.

We assume you have no prior navigation knowledge and so start with the basics.

You'll spend two days in the hills learning and practicing a variety of skills, including; reading the map, map orientation and interpretation, compass use, navigation techniques, following a bearing, route setting,navigation strategies and more.

This will give you the knowledge and confidence to navigate your own ventures into the hills. We spend both days outside.
