Oggie 8 2009

Its back, the event of the year 2008, the Oggie 8 is back with a vengeance. Last year 20 teams took part in the first ever Oggie 8 Challenge and ensured that the event was a raging success despite the worst weather the Ogwen Valley could throw at us. This year with the weather pre booked we are holding the event on Saturday 8 August.

So are you and your friends ready to undertake a challenging event through the magnificent scenery of the Ogwen Valley whilst at the same time raising much needed funds for the Ogwen Valley Mountain Rescue Organisation?

Could you walk, or even run, over eight 3000ft peaks in one day, a distance of over 16 miles, taking in the Carneddau and Glyderau including Y Garn and Tryfan?
