Santa Trains - The Ffestiniog Railway

 12/13, 19/20 and 22/23 December 2009  

December brings the annual visit of Santa and his elves - join them, and a merry band of characters from pantomimes and fairy stories, for a trip along the line to Tan-y-Bwlch Station. These trains are fun for adults and children alike. Santa and his elves pass through the train giving out presents to the children during the journey - with plenty of laughter and jokes along the way! At Tan-y-Bwlch, there’s chance to stretch your legs and take photographs with Santa and his helpers.

Adults enjoy a glass of sherry and a mince pie on the ride back from Tan-y-Bwlch. Other refreshments are available to buy on the train.

While at Porthmadog why not purchase your last minute Christmas presents from our souvenir shop and enjoy lunch and a pint at Spooner’s - our award winning café/bar - serving meals and snacks for all the family.
