The Llŷn Peninsula Walking Festival 13th September 2008

The Llŷn Peninsula offers walks for everyone, from the coastal path which stretches nearly 100 miles around the periphery of the peninsula, to hill and country walks inland.

We're aiming to celebrate the natural beauty of Llŷn, highlight it's fantastic walking and promote a healthier lifestyle, so why not join in?

Rhaglen Programme

Dydd Sadwrn – Saturday (13/9/08)
9am – 12noon:
Geocaching on Mynydd Tir-y-Cwmwd, Llanbedrog – 2 miles approx.
9am – 12noon:  Tramper Buggies on the beach at Llanbedrog
2pm: Walk from Aberdaron around Mynydd Mawr and Mynydd Anelog – 8 miles
4pm: Short Walk from Aberdaron to Porth Meudwy – 4 miles
6pm: Presentation in walking centre
6pm onwards: Beach Party and meals in Aberdaron hotels

Dydd Sul – Sunday (14/9/08)
9am:
  Challenge Walk begins – 18 miles
1pm:  Walk from Garnfadryn – 8 miles
2pm:  Short walk around Garnfadryn –  4 miles
