Summer Madness Walk 16 June

Walk on 16th June around Northern Penmaenmawr the walk starts from Craiglwyd farm (G.R. 719758) and ascends the beautiful Foel Lus by means of the Jubilee walk created to comemorate the jubilee of Queen Victoria , from there on to the mysterious "Druid Circles" and Moelfre where some dastardly deeds were carried out to ladies tossing corn on a Sabath. we then descend into the large Penmaenmawr quarry complex to investigate the industrial archaeology of the area.
To locate Craiglwyd farm, and kennels turn of the A55 expressway into Penmaenmawr, where the road narrows, there is some Victorian type covered shops on the right, turn left passing car park on right, take second right "Merton Park",   and continue up to the "T" junction turn right and continue for 500meters farm is on the left up a drive.   Meeting at 10.00 am.    (the walk will be approximatly 6 miles)
