Many of you may remember that Abi (my daughter) and Ali (my wife) completed the 15 mountains in Wales over 3000 feet high in 24 hours last summer, on Abi's 16th birthday. The event raised £4500 for the Children of Tien Shan, a work with abandoned and abused children in Kyrgyzstan. Thank you again to the many of you who supported this either financially or in your thoughts and prayers. I thought it would be good to give you an update as to how that money has been used. Over the year we have received quite a few emails and pictures from Irina Trofimov. She has been very excited that this money has enabled the Childrens’ Crisis Centre to be renovated and very well equipped. In Kyrgyzstan they are able to do many more times with this money than what we could do here. All this has enabled their work to have an impact on many more young lives.
