A message from John Les Tomos, Chair - The Mold Food and Drink Festival.
Another Mold Food and Drink Festival has come to an end. We attracted some 10,000 visitors to the site, with 85 stalls. Based on the Welsh Assembly Formula we calculate that in excess of £250,000 was spent at the festival alone with more being spent in the town itself on the Saturday.
You will I’m sure be glad to hear that this year we have made a surplus that we will be able to invest in sustaining this festival as an annual event, bringing business and enjoyment into our county town and invest in the infrastructure of the festival and increase, proportionally, its size and appeal to an even wider audience.
